The Perfect Gift

We all have those times when we need a quick, but gorgeous gift, right? You know if you went shopping, it would take too much time and you couldn't even get something personalized, right?  I have a solution - quick and easy note cards!  With the note cards and envelopes, a little ink, a stamp set and 30 minutes - and you're good to go!  Here is what I created:

When Stampin' Up! introduced the Sophisticated Serifs Photopolymer Stamp Set in June 2014, I knew I'd never be without the perfect gift!  You definitely need to add this stamp set to your collection.

Here is the list of items which I used to create these gift cards:

Playin' With Our Chalk Stamp Pads

As you probably noticed, there sure are a lot of new things in the Occasions Catalog. On pg. 25, everything is new!  This past Saturday, our class focused on using the new Colorbox Chalk Inks along with the Chalkboard Paper.  I never thought that chalkboards would be a thing of the past, but I think they are since those blasted white boards came out.  Anyhow, I love the look of a chalkboard so it was pretty darned cool to play with the chalk ink pads and chalk paper.  Here is one of the cards that we made this weekend:

The image is stamped using the Rose Coral Chalk Ink stamp pad, with the "celebrate" stamped using the White Craft pad.  Both inks are heat set, which I think is important when using the chalk ink pads.  Another important thing to remember is to make sure your ink pad is juicy so when you purchase the ink pad, be sure to purchase the reinker.   We used Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper and Big Day stamp set - both products from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  These two particular products are only offered during Sale-A-Bration (1/6/15 - 3/31/15) and for every $50 your spend (excluding shipping, handling and tax), you get one Sale-A-Bration item FREE!  CLICK HERE to view the total Sale-A-Bration offerings!  It's really a great opportunity to get FREE product - gotta love that!!!

Warmth with Tulips

I think most people in the US are experiencing some cold temperatures, so I thought I'd share with you a sign of spring - tulips!  Here is a card made with the Love is Kindness stamp set:

This is one of those stamps that I could stamp and color forever and it's perfect for the new four colors of Blendabilities introduced in the Occasions Catalog:  Bermuda Bay, Pink Pirourette, Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi.  My pleas for lighter colors of Blendabilities were answered!  Woo hoo!!!!

Here are the products used for this card:

Quick and Easy Treat Bag

When a new catalog comes out, it's always hard to figure out what I want to play with first!  So many toys, so little time!  Today I want to share this cute Mini Treat Bag made with the new Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Die in the Occasions Catalog!

Told you it was cute!  You are also probably noticing a few more new items, right?!  Before you ask, the size of the bag is approximately 5-1/2" x 3-3/4".  The "enjoy" is also included in the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.  The paper is from the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper!  Do you like the bow?  That is made with a the new Bow Builder Punch.  Once you start making bows, you'll find it hard to stop!  Check out this video that shows you how easy it is to create this treat bag:
