I'm Spoiled - You Can Be Too!

I'll admit it.  I'm spoiled!  Each month I get My Paper Pumpkin Kit in the mail from Stampin' Up! and get to sit down and create adorable projects.  Everything is already cut for me and while they provide directions, I can do whatever I want - I can make it my way!  And, what's really cool is that everything is included in the kit with the exception of adhesive.  Now, I'll share a little secret with you - in July's My Paper Pumpkin kit, I didn't even need adhesive!  Here are the two projects from the July Kit:

You even get enough supplies for six cards AND six boxes.  This is one of my favorite kits!  Another benefit that a subscriber gets is if they like a particular project, they can purchase refill kits while supplies last!  Wooooo Hooooo!!

On August 9, 2014, I'm holding a class - Escape to the World of My Paper Pumpkin.  It starts at 2 p.m. and the class fee is $5.00.  You'll make the two projects above and there will also be a special gift for you!  If you sign up for My Paper Pumpkin at the class, your class fee is waived!  To sweeten the deal, Stampin' Up! is offering 50% off for two months when you sign up - but be sure to sign up by September 10 - that is when the promotion ends!

Don't miss out!  If you can't make it to the class, just CLICK HERE to sign up and use promotion code "HALFOFF2".

Feel Like Going to the Opera??

Well, I've never been to the opera.  My impression of the opera?  I'm thinking of Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman" when Richard Gere (smile) took her to the opera for the first time.  Can I tell you that this is one of my top ten favorite movies?  Right up there with Dirty Dancing!!!  Okay, I'll admit, I'm a sucker for a love story.

Anyway, let me get to the subject at hand!  When I think of the opera, I think of the word "Bravo".   Everyone loves it when their accomplishments are acknowledged and the the Bravo stamp set fits the bill.  First, here is the stamp set:

Can't you see a ton of possibilities???  Another plus is this is a photopolymer set so you can see exactly where you are stamping your greeting!!

Here are some ideas from the Display Boards at Convention that used this stamp set:

Who wouldn't love to receive one of these cards!  To order your Bravo stamp set, just click here!  Many thanks to the talented Stampin' Up! demonstrators who created these projects for the Display Boards - you girls rock!!!!

Double the Flower Patch

I have a love-love relationship with the Flower Patch stamp set!  The flowers are so beautiful and since it is a photopolymer stamp set, it is super easy to line up your images!  And, get this, it has a framelit die set that matches called Flower Fair Framelit Dies so no "fussy cutting" - can I get a "woo hoo"?  Check out these two samples from the Convention Display Boards:

Breathtaking!!  Really love the way they are done and how on the first card, they stamped on designer series paper.  The second card uses a masking technique!

Here is the Flower Patch stamp set (Item No 134207 - $25.95):

Here is the coordinating Flower Fair Framelits Die (Item No. 133731 - $24.95):

The really great part???  You can purchase the Flower Patch Stamp Set and Flower Fair Framelits Dies in a bundle and save 15% - Item No. 136788 for only $43.25.

Easy Decorating Tip for Stampin' Up! Muslin Bags

After coming home from the Stampin' Up! Convention, it always takes me a couple of days to get back in the groove!  Boy, this year, my mind is still spinning as I try to absorb everything I learned and schedule some exciting upcoming classes.  You want to take a peek at our convention called - Inspire, Create, Share???  Check out this video!

I can't begin to tell you how exciting Convention is and how much I look forward to it every single year!  Sign up and come and join the fun next year!!!  You certainly won't regret it!!!

Now, let me share a little project with you.  At Convention, there are display boards with projects created by demonstrators and they are amazing.  This little muslin bag really caught my eye!

Isn't it gorgeous??   All they did was adhere the sequins to the bag with mini brads!   How simple is that!!  Below is the project list:

Can't wait to make some of these!!!!

New Gift Box Punch Board

How exciting is this? I made my first box with the Gift Box Punch Board!!! Here are pictures of the box coming to life!!

This particular box measures 4" x 4" x 4". I started with a 12" x 12" piece of new Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper which is heavier weight than our regular designer series paper. Now, get this - it required NO cutting and NO adhesive!!!

Here's a peek at the Gift Box Punch Board:

I'm so excited and can't wait to get this product back home so I can create in some other place than my hotel bed!!!

ONE REMINDER - both the designer series paper and Gift Box Punch Box will not be available until August 28, 2014 so make sure to put these items on your Wish List!!!

Happy stamping!!

Salt Lake City Scoop

Arrived in Salt Lake City yesterday for the Stampin' Up! Annual Convention, my favorite time of year! After an early morning flight (amazing how I can jump out of bed at 4 am when it has to do with Stampin' Up!), we arrived at 10:45. For the first time, we actually took a tour to see some of the sights of the city!

We had an amazing tour guide named Chris! He provided us so much knowledge that my brain could not retain it all. Really, I should have tape recorded him, but the tour was four hours, so don't think that was possible.

Our first stop was the Great Salt Lake! What can I say about it? Well, it was salty and smelly. But of course, I had to go stick my feet in the water!!!

Then Vicki . . .

Then Ben had to get in on the action to! He doesn't like baths, so we just let him get really close to the water (his tail did get a little wet!!)

Our next stop was a tour of the Copper Mine. Let me tell you, the ride up (and down) the mountain was, well, interesting to say the least. While I didn't want to sit in the front seat, I was glad I did because it enabled me to get some great pictures. Here are just a few . . .

Its really sad because pictures just do not do justice to the beauty and spendor of the land!

I just wanted to share a splattering of pictures because you know I've taken a ton!!!

Until next time . . .
