Loving the December My Paper Pumpkin Kit!!!!

Anticipation!  That's what I've been experiencing this week waiting for my December Paper Pumpkin kit to arrive!  I even walked out to my mailbox in my stocking feet (note to self - put shoes on the next time)!!!  I certainly wasn't disappointed - matter of fact, I sat right down and made it!   It's a calendar kit which includes the calendar, stamp set, Soft Suede ink spot and easel!   Love, love, love!  Below are pictures of each month.  The only thing I didn't include was the fine gold cord in three of the months - totally forgot that in my haste!

Mia was so excited, that she decided to come out and help me!  Of course, she's in her usual pose and saying - hey lady, you left off the gold cord!!!

Lastly and most importantly is the wonderful stamp set with this kit.  Don't you just love the font for the months!!!

So, as you've heard me say before, click on the Paper Pumpkin icon below and sign up now so you don't miss the next awesome kit!!!!

Meowing by the Fireplace

This weekend was my Hostess Appreciation Event - a special way to thank my customers who are hostesses or members of a stamp club.  I look forward to this event all year long because we always do something special and this year was no different.  Since I had not held a Christmas stamp-a-stack, we did one this weekend.  We used the Note Cards and Envelopes and created ten cards - two of each design.  I wanted to share this first card with you because it has a kitty cat on it and you know how much I love cats - and we were able to color - two of my favorite things!

Here are the items we used on the card (please note the Blendabilities are no longer available to purchase):

Snow Way! Baby

Why do I love snowmen so much?  Really don't know - they ARE cute!!  Have I built one lately?  Well, not outside because we hardly EVER get snow and when we do, it's too cold to build one and I don't have snow boots and .. well, you get the picture!  Wait, picture?

Not only do I have a picture, but I can honestly say I have built TWO snowmen on this card and I didn't have to go outside and it was warm inside and they didn't melt!!!   Woo hoo!!!  This is one of the projects we made in the November stamp clubs and had such a blast!  You have to admit, these guys just are too cute for words!  So, I'll stop with the words, list the items we used below and hope that you are able to build you own snowmen by clicking on the "SHOP NOW" below and order the supplies now!!

Blissful Bouquet - October My Paper Pumpkin

Do you like surprises?  I certainly do and I get one every month with Stampin' Up!'s My Paper Pumpkin subscription.  In October, $1.00 from each My Paper Pumpkin kit was donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  I love how Stampin' Up! supports may causes that are near and dear to our hearts.

I have to say that Stampin' Up! outdid themselves when they created the October kit.  Check out the stamp set and the kit:

I know what you're thinking - it is gorgeous.  Now, I haven't made the kit yet because my subscribers and I get together once a month to make our kits.  Honestly, I couldn't wait to stamp some flowers, so I'll share with you what I created:

I'm so in love with these.  I used the Note Cards and Envelopes (package of 20 cards and envelopes) which made this a quick and easy proejct.  Since I used Copic Alcohol Markers to color in the image and it shows through on the back side of the cardstock, I stamped my image on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the front of the note card so the inside of the card is perfect for writing.  For the touch of bling, I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the center of the flower!   Totally love how they turned out.  While Boo and Robin were creating their Tin of Cards on Saturday, they let me create these cards!  They truly do spoil me!

Below is a list of the Stampin' Up! products I used in addition to the October 2015 My Paper Pumpkin kit:

Timeless Elegance Takes My Breath Away!

Several months ago a package of the Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper arrived at my house and I wasted no time cutting it up and creating!   When I scheduled my class, it was hard to choose what projects to do and what not to do.  As with any class, I always have a favorite and this was mine:

What this picture doesn't show, is the sparkle in the Dazzling Diamonds glitter - it is absolutely gorgeous!  How did I do it?   It was quite simple - I cut out a piece of designer series paper, took a VersaMark pad and smooshed it all over the designer series paper.   Then I sprinkled Heat and Stick powder on it and heated it.  Tip - don't overheat the Heat and Stick powder or it will be Heat and No Stick powder.  As soon as it turns clear (which just takes a quick moment), move your heat tool.  Then apply Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and heat it again.  By reheating after you apply the glitter, it sets the glitter into the Heat and Stick powder.  I promise you that you'll love this technique!!!!  These are the only supplies you'll need:

I know this paper is gorgeous and you might hesitate to cut it up, but don't!  You can always buy some more!
