Shabby Chic Visits Letsstamp!

Oh yes, I've stepped out of my comfort zone!  I thought I would try a little shabby chic look and think I managed to do that!  Really, how did I start this project?  Well, I had the Flashback Designer Series Paper on my stamping table.  I wondered what it would look like if I stamped on it?  So, I did!  I used the Dictionary background stamp and stamped it using Basic Gray!  The flower was colored in with Blendabilities (yes, I can't stop using them).  The strip across the middle of the card is washi tape from the Beach House pack.  Now, if you have used washi tape, you know that it is translucent.  Notice how it isn't on this project?  I just applied the tape to a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock, then cut it down!  You can achieve so many different looks looks using washi tape and different colored cardstock!  Another little trick - to adhere the lace trip, I took a glue dot and curled it up and attached it under the lace trim!
