I Had a Case of the "What-If's" . . .

When I get into the "groove", my mind starts thinking the "what if's".  What if I do this .. or that?  Today's project was created from one of my "what if" moments which was - what if I color on designer series paper using Blendabilities????

It worked!!  I was really surprised how nicely the Blendabilities worked.  And, guess what designer series paper I used?  Are you ready for it - Flashback!!  It you scroll down through my posts in the last week or so, you'll see several projects I've created using this designer series paper and they are all so totally different.

A few hints - the pearls were colored using Daffodil Delights Blendabilities.  The flowers are colored using Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities and Old Olive for the stems.  The Linen Thread is attached by a staple and then tied in a bow (this is a super quick way to adhere your Linen Thread and looks oh so darn cute!!).  Lastly, there are Dimensionals adhering the Cherry Cobbler layer to the card base.

I even did the inside of the card and here's a quick picture (almost forgot to post this and snapped a quick pic with my iPhone - gives it a yellow hue - sorry)!!  Yikes!!!

Here is the product list with measurements:

Basic Black Cardstock (11" x 4-1/4", scored at 5-1/2")
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (5-1/8" x 3-7/8" both front and inside)
Very Vanilla Cardstock (3/4" x 3; inside - 5" x 3-3/4")
Flashback Designer Series Paper (5" x 3-3/4"; inside - 1" x 3-3/4")
Bloom with Hope Stamp Set
Linen Thread
Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities
Old Olive Blendabilities
Daffodil Delight Blendabilities
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad
Pearl Basic Jewels

So - go try your "what if's"!!!  You'll be surprised what you come up with!

Happy Stamping,
