Stylish Note Cards

Styles! Everyone has their own style. Something that makes them - them! I definitely have a stamping style and that is a simple style. When I think of it, that is my style - completely - in a lot of different areas of my life. Keeping with simple, I wanted to share with you a set of note cards that I made for a gift for my boss at the law firm where I work. She's so wonderful and is so supportive of my Stampin' Up! business and all the time I miss from work for stamping. And, it's so nice to work for a woman who appreciates all my stamping goodies! She loves getting note cards so I was excited to make them. My problem? Which stamp set to use! Sometimes too many choices makes life difficult, doesn't it! Well, I chose a stamp from the new Level 2 Hostess Set in the Summer Mini Catalog called Love & Care. Love, love, love, love it!

Now, you love that stamp too, don't you! To create the card and matching envelope, I printed out the typed text using my computer and a font called LibbyScript. Funny thing about the font was I didn't even know I had it. Funnier thing, it seems that there were quite a few new fonts on my computer that I didn't know I had. I swear I hadn't seen some of them before - has that ever happened to you? Hum, guess I won't figure out where it came from, but I love it and it looks great on the note cards! The colors used to color in the image are Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait - two In Colors! Here of late, I've really been using them alot!! Glad they will be around for another year! Whew!

This is the card that I created to coordinate with the note cards. Since it was an odd size, I created a coordinating envelope from Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I love being able to put together gifts that coordinate and look gorgeous, if I must say so myself!!!

Check out the stamp set ....

You can earn it free by hosting your own workshop with sales of $300 - that's not hard to do. This hostess set is only available through the end of August, so book your workshop now!!

Happy Stamping,
