Overview of My Digital Studio

Digital, digital, digital! As we have all experienced the world of digital in our lives, sometimes it can be a tad overwhelming. It seems there are so many things to learn and by the time I learn one thing, there are two or three more things I need to learn! Oh my!! And, I know just enough in the digital age -- to get me in trouble!

When Stampin' Up! announced their new product - My Digital Studio, I was very intrigued. They've entered the digital world! Now, I love my world of rubber stamping and scrapbooking -- it's that tactile factor, as well as the instant gratification. But then, I can sit for hours in front of my laptop and "play"! I love to surf the internet and figure out new things on the internet. Many of my Facebook friends have heard me proclaim - I LOVE THE INTERNET! So, my thought was - how to use My Digital Studio and my tactile world of rubber stamping. Answer - I'm working on it! (smile)

So, to get us started, today I'm sharing a video from Stampin' Up! which is an introduction to My Digital Studio. Take a look and see what My Digital Studio has to offer.

If you have purchased My Digital Studio and haven't installed it yet on your computer (I know you're out there), do it now! You have two CD's in your package and make sure you install them both. When My Digital Studio opens, the first thing you need to do is to check for updates. Also, if you have My Digital Studio, you should check for updates since Stampin' Up! just released a new one - and its fabulous!!! How? Here are the steps:
  1. The first screen that opens asks you what type of project you want to create - "New Projects Option". Just click on the "X" in the upper right corner of that dialog box and close it.
  2. Then click on "Help" in the tool bar across the top of your screen.
  3. On the drop down menu, click on "Check for Updates" and follow the prompts to download and install the latest updates. Stampin' Up! has added quite a few different types of projects since the initial launch of My Digital Studio.
I hope this gets you started with My Digital Studio. Enjoy this digital world - it's really a great place!

Happy Stamping,
