Floral Birthday Greetings

Are you getting tired of projects using the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack. Believe it or not, I still have a lot more!!! WOW!! Gotta love a product that you can use .. and use ... and use ... and use!!!

For today's project, the focal point is this adorable flower make with the Scallop Circle Punch. You'll find that once you start making these babies, you can't stop!!! All you do is punch out five scallop circles. Then you cut about a 1/4" or 1/2" down between each scallop, creating petals on the scallop circle. Do this to all five scallop circles. Now, crumple them up in your hand. It's okay if a "petal" breaks off, you won't be able to tell!! Now, flatten out the scallop circles, stack one on top of each other and secure with a brad. Now scrunch up the petals on the scallop circle towards the middle. Try it, you'll like it!!!! Notice the "leaf" coming out from underneath the flower? That is from the Two Step Bird punch from the Occasions Mini!! The stamped image is from the Well Scripted stamp set found in the Occasions Mini catalog. Another element of this card that I really like is the Taken with Teal cardstock layer behind the Whisper White layer. After I adhered the Whisper White to the Taken with Teal, I distressed the edge using the distressing tool on the Cutter Kit of the Taken with Teal cardstock. I so love this look!!!! Below are some of the products used on this card. I hope you like it and have a chance to try these flowers!!!
