We returned from New York on Monday after a wonderful holiday stay with my sister. Unfortunately, I was sick on Tuesday and then lost my internet and it all went downhill from there!!! It's really been a very hectic week and of course since missing two days from work, I'm swamped! I'm even going into the office today on Friday, my day off! However, I am thankful in this economy that I have a job!!
There is a bright light at the end of the tunnel though! This weekend is my annual Hostess Appreciation Workshop. I can't wait!!!!! I have three exciting projects planned and these are projects that I saw from other Stampin' Up! demonstrators that when I saw them, my mouth dropped open and I said, oh we have to do that!!! Last night, Vicki, my downline, came over and made the projects. She kept telling me - what were you thinking as she is cutting out things and putting them together. But, when she finished all three projects, she loved them as much as I do!!!! Now, I made these projects several weeks ago and I'm so thankful for Vicki coming over and doing them last night because she reminded me of some of the things that I did when I made them! Whew!!!! I've missed seeing you ladies .... so I can't wait!!!
Last year around this time, we were busy getting ready for the release of the new catalog. We get a breather this year as Stampin' Up! has gone back to an annual catalog. We currently have a Stampin' Up! Dormant List until the release of the new catalog in July 2010. However, some of the stamp sets on the Dormant List will be retired effective January 4, 2010. I've listed them below, so if there is anything you want, let me know as soon as possible so we can get your order placed!!!
