Happy August 1st!!

I'm so glad that August is here because it means that the Stampin' Up! Convention is almost here! Convention is held in Salt Lake City, Utah and this is my fourth visit out there, so I feel somewhat familiar with the area. But, this year we are renting a vehicle so we can venture out a little more. We leave on Tuesday, Aug. 4 and return on Sunday, Aug. 9. I am taking my laptop and hope to keep you updated on life in Utah and Stampin' Up! No matter what, though, we always a have a great time!!!

With today being the 1st of August, there are a couple of things I get to share with you. First, during the month of August, if you spend $35 in the Growing Up Section of the 2009-2010 Idea Book and Catalog (pgs. 74 - 90), you get one FREE package of Designer Series Buttons. You can get the Sherbet buttons . . . or the Playground buttons . . . or the Latte Buttons. The Latte Buttons were in the prior catalog, but the Sherbet and Playground buttons are new and the colors are so vibrant, you'll really be pleased!!! Check 'em out . . . .

Now, there is even more!!! From August 1 - September 30, 2009, you can purchase the Growth Chart Decor' Elements for $24.95 AND you'll get an applicator FREE. I think this is such a great idea to watch and chart your child's (or grandchild(ren)) growth! You know, it seems like kids grow up so fast these days! With the D├ęcor Elements Growth Chart you can track that growth with more than an unsightly pencil mark on the wall. Chart comes in Old Olive, Taken with Teal, and Chocolate Chip. Only available through September 30!

Lastly, the August Hostess Special is something you don't want to miss! With a $50 purchase, you get a package of the Clearly Thanks Window Sheets FREE!!! To qualify, you must have been a hostess in 2008. Be eligible in 2010 for these great specials by hosting your Stampin' Up! workshop now!!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy yoru weekend!!
