Happy New Year with NEW Decor Elements

First and foremost, I want to wish you all a very Happy New Year!!! New Year's Eve was a quiet evening at the Johnson house! It started off with watching, you won't believe it, Planet of the Apes. It was on one of the movie channels and they had the whole sequence of Ape movies, fortunately, we only watched one. We didn't intend to watch it, but once we started, we were looking at the movie for the quality and how much the movie making industry has progressed. The limited special effects in that movie were big back then, but now, they are just laughable. Of course, I did enjoy watching Charlton Heston (although I love him in the Ten Commandments the most!). Since I dutifully watched that movie, Mickey was kind enough to turn on Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, one of my all time favorite movies! After that, the bed was calling us and we brought in the New Year sleeping blissfully!!!

Our morning started with breakfast at one of our favorite places, The Sandfiddler, which is the best breakfast restaurant in the City of Norfolk, Virginia!!! Now, I'm home and finally decided to check my email and the Stampin' Up! website to see what goodies are being offered. Stampin' Up!, as usual, didn't let me down! They have released the Decor Elements III Brochure which is a collection of the current products, as well as new products being offered. If you haven't tried any of the Decor Elements, you should. They are really easy to apply and, in the event you have to remove them, pretty easy to remove!! I love the new additions, and am pleased that Stampin' Up! is now offering stencils to decorate your home! Just click on the picture of the brochure and you will be able to view it. Now, the new products will be available to order on January 19 when you are able to order from the new Spring Summer Idea Book and Catalog. Nope, I haven't seen the new catalog yet, but next week at this time, I'll be in Orlando at Leadership and will have the new catalog!!! I can't wait!!!!

As I could sit here and type all day, my stamp classroom is calling me as my table is covered with my last items that need to be put somewhere! When I get it all cleaned up, I'll take some pictures, including my new cabinets in my stamping office, and post them on my blog. Maybe, if I really get motivated, I can stamp a bit!! Woo hoo!!! Tomorrow will be spent preparing for this weekend's Stamp, Play and Create session!!! If you haven't signed up, I still have some spots available for you to come and stamp ... play ... and create!!!

Stampingly yours,
