As we approach the end of the Stampin' Up! year, I realize that I don't have alot of time left to play with the "In Colors". This card utilizes the Groovy Guava and Wild Wasabi colors from the In Color 2008 collection. They are beautiful colors, aren't they?
For this card, I used Never-Ending Joy stamp set. The bouquet of flowers can be used for so many things -- anniversaries, weddings, birthdays, Easter, thinking of you (the list really is endless)! This set features a technique called "two step stamping" because with two stamps, you've created the bouquet! To add a special touch, you just stamp the ribbon on top of the bouquet. Two step stamping also lets you create multi-color images at the snap, well, stamp of a finger (or two)! The other items on this card include a heart from the On Board Accents chipboard and the Afternoon Tea Designer Series paper in the Occasions Mini catalog!
Do you know how to adhere designer series paper to chipboard? Well, it's easy! Place the chipboard on top of the paper and trace the outline of the chipboard with a pencil onto the paper. Cut out the image from your designer series paper. Apply Stampin' Up!'s Anywhere Glue Stick to the paper and attach to the chipboard. Give it a few seconds to set and then sand the edges with the Sanding Blocks! Just a word of caution -- the Afternoon Tea designer series paper will only be available until the end of June, so if you would like to order it, just email me! Want to take a peek at the paper? If you have any questions, just let me know! I hope you enjoy this project!!!
