June Stamp, Play and Create

While the weekend was hot . . . the stampin' was cool baby!!! We had a wonderful time this weekend at the Stamp, Play and Create. The theme of the class was "Brads are not the Pitts" which was named by Robin Rubbo (thanks again!). Although Robin couldn't attend, she was there in spirit for all three classes. Of course, all of the projects featured brads.

The first project was this cute Popsicle card. The first time I saw this card on was the Bermuda cruise and I thought it was adorable. We used the Tart and Tangy Stampin' Up! stamp set which is still available through the end of this month for only $12.95!!!! Notice how the brad just sets off this slice of lemon!

This card highlighted the eScape bundle which is such a great deal! The Stampin' Up! stamp set is Circle of Friendship and has a stamp for every ocassion!

This was my favorite project of the weekend (shhh - don't tell the other projects)!!! It featured the Stampin' Up! Fresh Cut stamp set which will be in the upcoming 2008 Fall/Winter Idea Book and Catalog! You can purchase it right now for only $21.95 and if you do, you can purchase the Fresh Cut Notes for only $5.00! It is also die cut so all you do is peel and stick to mount your stamp set. Notice how the brad is in the center of the jumbo eyelet! Check out more information on the the Fresh Cuts Special!

Our last project featured the Wiper Card which was demonstrated at the Stampin' Up! Convention two years ago!!! It was too much fun to make and we highlighted the center of the flower with a Rhinestone Brad!

I hope you can come to the July Stamp, Play and Create which will feature watercolor techniques! There is a $5.00 fee for this class, which is waived with a purchase of $30.oo or more. Please email me to reserve your spot!
